AT A GLANCE

  • Age: 12 (born December 13, 2013, in Jakarta)
  • Event: Future Pace x OSHEE 2026, Klub Studio, Kraków  June 12–14
  • Result: 1st place, Hip Hop U18 category, plus Best Dancer Chosen by OSHEE
  • Prize: 4,300 zł  roughly Rp 20 million

In the final round of Future Pace x OSHEE 2026, a 12-year-old from East Jakarta squared off against the reigning Red Bull Dance Your Style Austria champion. She won.

That's the short version of how Miyu Ananthanaya Pranoto  known on Instagram as Mata Miyu  became the Hip Hop U18 champion at one of Central Europe's bigger street dance battles.

Mata Miyu is a street dancer from East Jakarta, Indonesia. On June 14, 2026, she took first place in the Hip Hop U18 category at Future Pace x OSHEE 2026, an international dance battle held at Klub Studio in Kraków, Poland, from June 12 to 14. The win came with a 4,300 zł cash prize  roughly Rp 20 million  plus the event's Best Dancer Chosen by OSHEE award.

Who Did Mata Miyu Beat in the Final ?

In the one-on-one final, Miyu faced a dancer known online as M.O.D. (@m.o.d.008), winner of Red Bull Dance Your Style Austria 2025  a title that usually takes years of battling to earn. By the time she reached him, Miyu had already eliminated dancers from several other countries to claim the top spot on the bracket.

The room wasn't quiet about it, either. Klub Studio's floor was packed, judges sat close enough to catch every footwork detail, and rows of OSHEE energy drink bottles lined the edge of the stage  the kind of setup built for a battle, not a recital.

What Did She Dance To?

Her final-round set pulled from Bruno Mars's "Treasure," A$AP Ferg's "Plain Jane," Ice Spice's "Big Guy," and "Victory Lap" by Fred Again, PlaqueBoyMax, and Skepta  tracks built for sharp, percussive hip-hop footwork rather than slow showcase moves.

Who Is Mata Miyu, Off the Dance Floor?

Born December 13, 2013, Miyu studies at Kinderfield Highfield Duren Sawit in Jakarta and has been dancing since age 7. Since October 2024, her career has been managed by Jam Republic, a talent agency based in Singapore.

Here's the part most headlines skip: Miyu doesn't only compete against her own age group. At Radikal Forze Jam in 2025 and 2026, she entered the adult 7-to-Smoke Open Styles category  against grown professionals  and placed second both times.

This wasn't her first trip abroad, either. She placed at HipFest 2024 World Finals in Vietnam, and in 2025 she was invited as a guest performer alongside Orlando-based Motiv Crew on South Korea's televised competition World of Street Woman Fighter  a clip that's since pulled in more than 2.7 million YouTube views.

"This was my first time in Poland, and it was honestly so much fun," Miyu wrote on Instagram after the win, thanking the organizers for making her feel welcome.

What's Next for Mata Miyu?

Kraków adds to a growing international résumé that now spans Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Europe  before she's even finished middle school. With an agency behind her and a viral win like this one likely to bring more invitations, the bigger question isn't whether Mata Miyu competes again. It's who's left to beat.
