Bandung just leveled up. The Poland–Indonesia Gaming Roadshow 2025 made its vibrant stop at Graha Pos Indonesia on October 13, 2025, bringing together game developers, creative leaders, and tech visionaries from both nations — all with one shared goal: to push the boundaries of gaming and digital innovation.

Part of the Poland Festival ASEAN 2025 initiative, the symposium was jointly organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and Gamecomm Indonesia, marking another milestone in the growing partnership between Europe’s fastest-rising gaming powerhouse and Southeast Asia’s dynamic creative scene.

From industry veterans like 11 bit studios (known for This War of Mine and Frostpunk) to the globally renowned GOG platform under the CD PROJEKT Group, the event brought an exciting mix of expertise and energy. Speakers included Jacek Kolomyjec (PAIH Jakarta), Sere Kalina (Gamecomm Indonesia), Dr. Iendra Sofyan (West Java Tourism and Culture Office), and Bartosz Kwietniewski (GOG), among others — each sharing insights on how gaming can bridge cultures, empower youth, and fuel economic growth.

“Poland has become one of Europe’s most dynamic gaming markets, and we are proud to share our experience with Indonesia — a country full of creativity and potential,” said Jacek Kolomyjec, Deputy Head of Office at PAIH Jakarta. “This roadshow is about building bridges — and inspiring partnerships that can go global.”

As part of a multi-city journey, the Poland–Indonesia Gaming Roadshow connects key creative hubs across the archipelago — from Bali’s Gaming Symposium and Polish Pavilion at IGDX (October 10–11) to Bandung’s Roadshow Symposium (October 13), and culminating at Jakarta’s Digital Innovation Summit (October 14).

The Bandung edition stood out for its youthful energy, spotlighting how gaming is no longer just entertainment — it’s a powerful tool for education, storytelling, and cultural diplomacy. The event encouraged discussions on co-production, IP development, and cross-cultural exchange, echoing Indonesia’s growing ambition to establish itself as a global creative force.

“West Java has long been a center for education and creativity. Hosting this event in Bandung reflects our shared commitment to developing digital talent and fostering global collaboration,” said Dr. Iendra Sofyan, Head of the Tourism and Culture Office of West Java Province.

For Sere Kalina, Co-Founder and CBD of Gamecomm Indonesia, this event was more than just a conference — it was a statement of intent.

“We want the world to see that Indonesia’s gaming and creative industries are ready to shine on the global stage,” she said. “Partnerships like this show how collaboration, investment, and creativity can power a new generation of game changers.”

As the roadshow continues, the message is clear: the next big leap in gaming innovation might just come from a collaboration between Kraków’s coders and Bandung’s dreamers.
