Both nights sold out before most fans finished refreshing the ticket page. That's the story of The Weeknd Jakarta concert 2026  two back-to-back shows at Jakarta International Stadium on September 26 and 27, part of what's billed as After Hours Til Dawn: The Final Leg Before Shutdown.

The Weeknd, the Canadian singer born Abel Tesfaye, performs at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) in North Jakarta on September 26 and 27, 2026, as the first Southeast Asian stop on the closing leg of his After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour. Tickets for both dates are officially sold out. Gates open at 2:00 PM WIB, general access opens around 5:30 PM, the opening act starts at 7:50 PM, and Tesfaye is expected onstage around 8:50 PM.

What Makes This Tour Stop So Big?

This isn't just another concert on the calendar  it's the closing chapter of the highest-grossing tour ever staged by a male solo artist. Since launching in July 2022, After Hours Til Dawn has pulled in over $1 billion globally across 153 shows. Jakarta is one of the last cities to get it before the production shuts down for good.

The setlist draws from all three albums in Tesfaye's trilogy  After Hours, Dawn FM, and Hurry Up Tomorrow  with stadium staples like "Blinding Lights," "Save Your Tears," and "Take My Breath" alongside newer cuts like "São Paulo." Expect a post-apocalyptic stage: a massive runway, chrome monoliths, and a suspended glowing moon hanging over the pitch  the kind of visual scale that's made this tour a case study in stadium production, not just a concert.

How Much Does It Cost to Get In  and Is There Anything Left?

Both nights are officially sold out, according to organizers Live Nation and TEM Presents. If you don't have a ticket yet, your options are secondary markets  approach with caution  or catching the tour in one of its remaining cities before the run ends.

How Do You Get to JIS, and What's the Security Setup Like?

Getting 82,000 people in and out of North Jakarta twice in one weekend is its own logistics operation. Organizers have laid out multiple transport routes: KRL commuter rail, TransJakarta, shuttle buses, ride-hailing, and private vehicles, with traffic engineering active on roads leading into JIS during peak arrival and departure windows.

On the security side, Polda Metro Jaya is coordinating 1,104 personnel across the two nights  927 from Polda Metro Jaya itself, 70 from local Polres units, and 107 from supporting agencies.

"These preparations are aimed at ensuring the smooth running, safety, and comfort of the audience," said Shinta Syamsul Arief, Head of SBU Jakarta International Stadium.

One detail worth knowing before you go: professional cameras, detachable lenses, and tripods are banned inside JIS  phone cameras only. And nearly every transaction inside, from food to merch, runs cashless through QRIS or card.
